Dawaynes love for music has very strong influence on the way he portreys him self for example; the way he dresses, it turns out that the hip-hop genre influenes the ways he dresses and the particular clothes he purchases. Dewayne describes the way he dresses as his ‘uniqueness’. The latest influence on his fashion sense is the song: Tyga-snapbacks back featuring Chris brown. Dewayne Interacts with music ‘all day everyday, 24 hours a day 365 days a year’. The only time he is not listening to music is when he is in a university lecture, however when it comes to doing coursework ‘the music has to be playing otherwise I just can’t function which means my course work is getting done’. Dewayne’s friends describe him has a music fanatic they also go on to say ‘if he’s not listening to music then he is talking about the latest song out by one of his favourite artists.’ Music motivates Dewayne to have the confidence to ‘lay down tracks once in a while’. Music stimulates DeWayne to an extent that he is in a studio recording some of his own material, hoping one day he will make it as big as the inspirational artists he engages with.
